A crater lake

Oregon is home to some of the most beautiful water holes in the country. It is filled with natural lakes, rivers that cut through the land, creeks, natural springs, and even a beach with access to it. As great as these natural water marks may be, and as fun, as they are, there are other places that are ripe for swimming on any occasion including some really great water parks.

If you and your family are itching to get into the water and cool off after a hot day, but you don’t want to drive all the way to the beach or other water features, then a great option is one of the many amazing indoor and outdoor water parks that you can find in Oregon. This water park is the kind of park that looks as though it is something that is straight out of the future. It is purely white with absolutely huge slides that twist and turn and give you a thrill every time you jump on and go down. 6.) Emigrant Lake

This water park is a bit different than the others as it has the main water park from a natural lake. The reservoir is not so much a water park as it is a swimming hole with one amazing water slide that comes along with it. This is a great place for you and your family to get outside as there is plenty of swimming and a lot of places to sit and enjoy a picnic together. It is the large waterslide though that sets this place apart. It takes it from being a simple water hole to being a thrill-seekers paradise! You can shoot down the slide and start swimming with everyone else. Enjoy the mesh of natural bodies of water and man-made slide at this unique water park.

7.) The City Of Astoria Aquatic Center
